Despite the fact that the CD Projekt Red made it clear that the story of Geralt of Rivia ended in 2015, many fans of the Witcher series have continued to hope that the developer from Poland will not just lift its hands from its best and most prestigious franchise.

In an attempt to finally end the rumors and gently face fans with inevitable fate, director and co-founder of the company, Adam Kicinski, revealed that there is a chance to return to this medieval world, but this time we will not experience it from the perspective of our favorite Witcher. Given that the studio still holds rights to the franchise, Kicinski is aware that fans as well as investors will probably not forgive if they put the lock on it, and its not that it would not be interesting to see how CD Projekt Red would introduced a new game in the same universe.

In addition to the Witcher series, Adam has touched the upcoming dystopian game Cyberpunk 2077. The world that this title should present should be bigger than The Witcher 3, and we will soon see the first concrete material related to the game. Finally, he mentioned the card game Gwent, which is based on the popular mini game from The Witcher 3. Gwent is designed by model of the game as a service, and although is in the early stages of development, with the begging of the next year it will present some new features.

Yeah... Witcher is awesome, not doubt about it. But people need to move on and be open minded to new epic stories that wants your attention. Looking forward to cyperpunk. In the meantime, I'll spend my time on ELEX.
