I cannot seem to find any documents that state what is compatible with my laptop.

Further update! My laptop Alienware 15 (early 2015) DOES NOT support PCIe. JUST mSATA.

Yeah, I just confirmed this with dell support.  For the longest time I thought it took PCIe.  Bummer.

Dell support also said that they GB limit for the M.2 slots is 512gb.... can anyone confirm this?

I want to get a 2tb drive or at least a 1tb drive to work...https://www.newegg.com/western-digital-blue-2tb/p/N82E16820250093?Item=N82E16820250093
