Steam will limit achievements for fake games
Last couple of years on Steam there has been a battle of so-called " fake games, or products that are made quicker-better, most often with someone else's materials, and with a single purpose - to make quick earnings with different methods. Once this was "farming" of trading cards before Valve restricted trading option for the same. An active method is still selling games to increase achievement scores and thus also value of user account. But, nor this malevolence of Steam will longer exist.
Namely, Valve announced that developers will soon get stricter terms under which they can include achievements in their games. The first and most important thing will be that the games can contain up to 100 achievements. This does not apply to all games sold on Steam, but only those that fail to prove they are real games, and not so-called achievement spam. Also, to users achievements from these games will not be publicly displayed on their profile.
