Amazon starts offering free mobile gaming content to Prime members

Amazon India has started offering mobile gaming content to Prime members in India, including in-game content and Prime-only tournaments across various mobile games.

At launch, the e-commerce giant is offering content like collectible characters, upgrades and in-game currency from popular local and International mobile games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Mafia City, World Cricket Championship, Black Desert Mobile, Words with Friends 2 and The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross through a dedicated microsite on its platform. Going forward, it plans to offer content from games like Ludo King in the future.

"We recognize the need for in-game content by mobile gamers to enhance their playing experience and are delighted to provide access to this content free to Prime members," said Akshay Sahi, Director & Head of Prime, Amazon India "We will continue to add new in-game content for other popular games, with frequent content refreshes"

The new gaming benefit joins a growing list of Prime benefits for its members including video streaming service Prime Video, music streaming service Prime Music and e-books library Prime Reading along with free shipping on their product purchases on Amazon India website.

India is a huge market for mobile game, ofcourse they made a market analysis before making such a decision! Many mobile company like xiaomi now offers india exclusive handsets.
