New Content For The Division 2!

  • 35

The Division 2 is one of the game titles within Tom Clancy's franchise. It's a marvellous first-person shooter which puts you in Washington D.C. and New York.

A couple of weeks ago we got Update 12 which also was meant to be the last major update for the game. But apparently*, the community had some influence on the development studio. Because they keep being active on the forums, the development studio decided to go with new content that will be released later in 2021.

And they are already developing that new content as we speak. While it is still too soon to go deeper into details, the studio promises to come with more information, rather soon.

While it is still too early to go into more details today, you won’t have to wait too long, as we will share more as soon as we can.

On top of that, the development team is confirming that there are a lot of game crashes since the last update and they are working hard on figuring out what is going on and how to deal with it.

An investigation into the crashes affecting many of you is ongoing with the highest priority.

Also, I am dealing with these issues. While I could play the game without any issues whatsoever, I now have game crashes every couple of minutes. The game became unplayable because of it. It's nice to hear that they are working on it. It would be sad to have to drop playing this game because of these crashes since this is one of the better Tom Clancy shooters I've played. For the issue with missing volumetric fog and screen space reflections on PlayStation 5, the developers are also busy trying to find a fix to solve those problems.

We are also close to finding a fix for the missing volumetric fog and screen space reflections on PlayStation 5.

If we make a recap of this all, we come to this list:

  • New content for 2021
  • Bug fix for the crashes in the make
  • Fix for missing volumetric fog and screen space reflections on PlayStation 5 in the make

Personally, I'm glad about this news and I'm sure many others with me?!

Excited to see new content!

Yeah, me too. After thinking this would have been the last update for this awesome game, I'm more than thrilled about this news!

Nice to see, that the support is ongoing, but how much will this new content cost?
