I still don't know how, but after 3 minutes waiting for the game vault to load, every game was still available, and I managed to get a copy of Doom: Dark Ages. I had almost no hope of getting it, but this month paid off. I was so surprised that I only believed it now after checking my rewards and redeeming the game.
I was 2 minutes late for the opening of the Game Vault and still got the game I wanted. I know many people are pissed that there are only GOG games in this Vault, but it was the smoothest experience ever, and I'll really enjoy my copy of Dino Crisis. Thanks, GOG, for the sponsorship. People, you must understand that complaining here about the Game Vault won't do anything. This whole thing only exists for marketing purposes. Dell pays iGames for a platform where people engage with the Alienware brand; they show that people are interacting here "for free", so they are paid. Want to show you are unhappy? Go to social media and tag Dell. Send an email or message on LinkedIn to their marketing director (Allison Dew), or do anything else besides complaining here. Have a nice day/night.
Wow, when you think they couldn't mess any more with this Game Vault thing... Congrats to the team; you didn't only haven't bothered to improve this mess; you found a way to turn it even worse. That's the Dell quality right here.
I thought this month AWA got it right with Hotline Miami. A good old game with enough keys for everyone that had interest get something from the vault. But I was wrong, even the old games must had no more than 100 keys. Why create this chaos every month with few keys for newer games if everyone would be happy getting a key for a good old game?
