I’ve been a passionate gamer ever since I discovered the classics that defined competitive PC gaming for me: Unreal Tournament (1999), Quake III Arena (1999), and Counter-Strike.
From the first time I jumped into fast, skill-based matches, I was hooked—not just on winning, but on improving: learning maps, mastering movement, and pushing my reflexes and decision-making under pressure.
Unreal Tournament made me fall in love with pure arena chaos and the thrill of outplaying opponents.
Quake III Arena took that feeling to another level with its speed and precision, and it taught me that consistency and practice matter as much as talent.
And Counter-Strike, which began as a Half-Life mod in 1999, introduced me to a more tactical style of competition, where teamwork, timing, and smart positioning can decide everything.
Even today, those games are the reason I still enjoy gaming so much: they shaped my taste, my mindset, and my love for competition.
