Apparently, what makes the difference between whether AWA detects the game or not is this:

However, i still don't understand why the "Choose Your Own Game" mission let me select TF2 anyway.
Maybe change the way the TF2 mission recognize the game to the way the "Choose Your Own Game" mission does the trick?
