GIveaways for NON-US

  • 29

Hello

So , it is hardly understandable why do AWA do promotion events to US and EU in a limited scale .

There is a lot of population from EU using this site , it is kind of a shame not allowing a part of the members of not participating in big giveaways.

So please , AWA you could think of your EU minorities people sometimes ?  I don't ask as much giveaways , bonus ARP , and more as hell .
Just a little bit of consideration and remembering that EU is there as well and that EU is not only France , Germany and UK.

Thanks in advance

Thank you for mentioning that; I find it really annoying when companies try to break up the single EU market back along national borders and don't treat the EU as one entity for the purpose of events and giveaways, as it should be.

Yes that bothers me as well. So few do worldwide or EU giveaways and when they do it seems the entire Eu is just 4 ish counties. Even worse that my country lies in between them

the best way to complain is with your wallet, that's what i do. Sow them the same apreciation they show us.

EU countries have different laws especially when it comes to raffle/giveaways which can be considered as gambling. Getting the papers to host these "promotions" is not as easy as it might look and probably for them it is not worth the effort/cost for countries outside those regions.

Not to mention certain giveaways, the daily quests are different... For years, I just keep doing the same quests from changing avatar, reading 2 gaming-news articles, changing badges, etc. Over and over again. I do remember they had said the quests which were available to everyone would be back, but until yet. They do not say a thing, so I'll never know what's going on. (Or is this still going on, or they stopped paying attention to this issue?)

This is it right here guys.

I'm not lying when I say, we actually try very hard to get as much stuff released globally as we can because we dont like seeing annoyed and angry members.  We do understand that a large chunk of our userbase is not from those countries.  But its out of our hands for most of these promotions.  This all cost a lot of money and Alienware has to decide where to prioritize it so we can keep it all functioning.

In the end though, this site is free for everyone and provides a lot of free, valuable content, to a lot of people.  Our goal is to always include as many as possible.  Thats why there are still different giveaways each month that are available to the entire globe.  They may not be the best stuff we give away, but its still something.

just for you know some event was not allowed in France (some with physics reward was only for germany and for example last event for serious sam wasn't active on France alienware...)

It's an american company, so it's understable. We already have a lot of global giveaways, but it would be nice to see other european ones too.

Unfortunately, it seems like alienware decided to forget about us and focus on US mostly.
