So... now we can't change the artifact in a slot once every 24 hours anymore? more that 40 hours has passed since my last change and it stills blocked, what's going on? Help!!

There are many fixes for this. The one I use often is to try and upgrade something that is maxed out or that you do not have enough to do. It failing seems to make the clock realize its over 24h and you can then switch like normal.

If that does not work then go read the info section as there are several other methods to get it working again.
