For how long should I wait for the artifact after placing it to take effect? because after I placed 5th dimensional data (discord artifact) in the place of another artifact and went to discord to answer the daily arena connect poll I only got 5 ARP instead of 8 (5 + 3)

As soon as it is equipped. Don't forget Discord ARP is variable, and they don't tell you what the base ARP is.

Should be right away. I got 9 yesterday on the last one. I have it at +4. I have not however tested that one with less then a couple hours.

Should be instant to take effect, but consider AWA's history with numerous issues. I'd allow about an hour before answering the poll.
