I always hate replacing things like headphones unless they're broken or unfixable. Does anyone else feel that way?

PRO Tip: block/avoid all adds & only buy something if you really need it and/or it's a substancial upgrade. Also do a good research to find the "perfect match" so you don't end up with something that doesn't tick all/most of the boxes.

I will spend a month trying to fix something instead of buying a new thing lol
maramire - 12.10.2024 11:56:53
Why would you? I use my things until they are totally dead.

i only just got my first set of headphones for a computer ever a few months ago.... they need to be replaced? are they like brake pads?
perfectgirlsee - 12.10.2024 18:31:09
I hate how wired headphones break so easily, I have so many where the one side just stops working after a few months. Switched to wirelss but that sucks, because will have to replace those every 1-2 years when battery dies.

@perfectgirlsee Mi wired headphones had just reached the 9th year of life. No wireless headphone can even dream reaching that lifespan.

@jk Same here! I'll have things that are mostly duct tape but I'll keep using them until I get sick of the sticky stuff getting everywhere. Even cheap things that are easy to find, like wall chargers or something. My wife hates it, lol.

I just hate when I need to replace a part, but it simply isn't sold. The one part that they don't make replacements for. That sucks.
kovec - 12.10.2024 23:41:52
@Bobbydog66 Or when they do sell a replacment part, the pricing isn't worth it.
