So, since we are being pulled to use this thing now here is something...
With the badge removal does it mean achievements like Showoff are now unobtainable? Just when I found out I'm at 47/50 for it? :(

Badges and Avatar achievements are no longer obtainable. I have 95/100 for the final badge achievement, and was a few weeks away from tier 4, and more badges.

It would be possible to change the achievements to editing your avatar, and equipping 100 avatar cosmetics, but I doubt they will bother. They're too busy creating new bugs and removing things people like.
