While tariffs might not apply directly to physical (or digital) games, the games are still made by people/companies that pay more in tariffs elsewhere (ie. computer parts) and will charge customers more.

of course!. donald just put a 100% tariff on movies. he hasn't yet to my knowledge, but certainly can, put a tariff on games. games aren't made in a vacuum - everything is affected.

Considering his age demographic, I wouldn't expect video games to a great concern to him. Movies and television, however, because that's what they grew up with and know.

If President Trump considers films made overseas to be "a National Security threat", then it makes sense to think the same for software made overseas. Oh well, Americans will just have to settle for 2 games instead of 30. ðŸ˜
