You can add it in the building process. However I don't know where you will be able to find one that has not already been built. I know AW stopped selling them on the USA and South African websites. Chances are youl have to buy a pre built model off Amazon (I know they still selling them, new and used) But you will just have to check the specs of each to see if it shipped with a Blu ray rom. If you want my advice just go for the new AW 14. I will admit that I liked the old design more, but this one has grown on me the more I use it. Also I hear that the build quality is better than the M14x. You will also be getting better components such as a matte screen and 4th gen I7 processor to name but a few.
Mine cost me about 1600 us dollars with extras such as a 1080p screen and blue ray rom and an AW backpack.
