Little is known when the Alienware 14" 17" and 18" laptops will be releasing in Australia/New Zealand. But I must say, reviewing the specs of these laptops have really caught my eye! I'm impressed at how much they can put in these laptops, excluding the design ( dissapointed that they removed the grills on the front ). I guess Alienware are going for the more proffessional style, and throwing away the over the top gaming machine appearance.
Which I actually liked, despite it's overwhelming customization options.
That's not to say that the new laptops won't have anyway.
But why do we buy these laptops? Besides the style, it's performance. And that is something I am
Impressed with, basically a portable desktop. (17" / 18" )
Hoping these get released soon in Australia, as I really want to tackle some Total War Rome 2 in addition to some master hacking in Watch_Dogs.
The Nvidia chips I believe are 760 and can be upgraded upwards, including 8 GB Ram and the next generation CPU. Which will be interesting considering that the stock model of the original Alienware ran off an AMD, the AMD is now present within the next gen consoles.
How ever, so far the specs of the next gen console are looking to be up to par in comparison to high average PC, which isn't bad.
What are your thoughts on the new Laptops?
