Hey team, first time poster liking the forum so far :), I recently won a Alienware X51 AX51-6154BK on ebay at a steal for $550 yay! Its coming from America though... Anyway heres a question the internet has failed to answer me so far. Can the psu in the American x51 take our 220 voltage at 50 hertz? America using 110 volts at 60 hertz Some people online say that most newer psu's can tolerate either 50/60 hertz and the might be a switch on the psu to change from americas 110 volts to aus's 220 volts others say ill need a transformer, then so others say ill need to put a new psu in. I will definatly need a plug adapter lol can anyone please help me with this, thank you any and all help is appreciated

I'm not sure, the best thing is to call Alienware, they're pretty good in Aus have been super helpful to me!

I would think you'll be just fine. As long as the plug fits it's good. I think the cord will only take as much power as it needs, so your system should be fine.
