I wonder if anyone can help me - on pressing the on button A loud noise (beeping) starts - computer does not start
I also plugged the charge in, but still the same noise
Machine is a14 model, running W7

Depending on how many beeps its could be a ram issue or Harddrive. Also check that the CPU Fan is spinning when it starts up. Some PC's have a sensor that warns you if the cpu fan isnt working and wont start up so it doesnt damage the cpu.
Also a good internal dusting wouldnt hurt.
