Drgon-like creatures have appeared in Apex Legends

A new update, called New Weapons Update, has been released for Apex Legends. While the update doesn't mention anything else being added to the game, Respawn have stealthily added a new creature to the game, the so called Flyer. They haven't offered any explanations about these new drgon-like monsters, from the looks of it, the Flyers aren't really interested in murdering players but some Flyers carry loot boxes:
