Alienware gpu upgrade

Hey, literally just joined today, looking for a bit of technical advice. 

I'm on an Area 51 r2 with 32 gigs ram, gtx 1060 6 gb and i7 6800k, looking to upgrade to the rtx series (not certain yet but probably 2070 super) I'm trying to figure out if that series is compatible with my rig?

Shoud be, i'd see no reason it wouldnt be, other than maybe room inside your case, as the 2070 is probably physically bigger than the 1060.
