buying from alienware in Australia.

hey everyone im new to the forum. i am buying a new gaming laptop and alienware has taken the cake of the best one. i have a budget and i wanted to ask other then for the system will there be any additional costs like taxes ect ect? thanks for the help

hi, i dont think there will be any additional cost, i brought my one from JB hifi for $1800 with warrenty`s and all the goods, maybe go there and have a look? exspecially if you dont wanna wait for the laptop, as you get it on the day

To second the above post, I bought my X51 from JB Hi-Fi as well and that was only $1200, haven't paid anything extra.

You guys that bought from JBHIFI, was it the dell warranty they sold you or do they have their own?

I bought my M14x from JBHI, i got 2 warranty's 1 with dell for 1 year, and 2 with JBHI, for around 2k

I got my Alienware M18x R2 from dell.com for $5,000 with 3 year warranty.

omg wow that's expensive. thats really the only problem i see with alienware laptops, the more you customise it, the more it costs. I bought an M14x for $1450, and for the specs its actually really good in comparison to other laptops in that price range. just my 2 cents :P
