Pre-ordering Alienware Alpha

I've visited the Alienware stall at PAX, and was really impressed by the Alpha. I enquired about purchasing one. I was told I can buy one online, or at JB hi fi.

Silly me, I've believed that. This is not the case. The Australian site does not list the Alpha as an available product. JB won't recognize it either (it's not in their system yet).

Good job team.

Can anyone tell me where I can actually pre order one?

Im guessing Alienware is waiting until tomorrow so we don't get to use the 15% discount on the system. What's the point of giving us a discount if they don't want to list one of their new flagship products? I guess they just want our money and as much of it as possible. I was willing to get this if it was reasonably priced here but of course it's well above the american price. They get the base model for $550 USD which is around $631 AUD right now. What do we pay? $700 AUD. I would have been fine with this if they had let us take advantage of the 15% discount but of course they don't let us. You watch, by either today or tomorrow the Alpha will be available for preorder perfectly timed so that we spend as much money as possible. I was gonna get one of these but because of the price and the fact that they likely delayed the preorders to make us spend more money has put me off it.
